Requirements

You’ll need a strong, proven background as a software developer with deep backend expertise. Our core stack is Java and Spring (including Spring MVC, Data JPA, Security, OAuth2 and AMQP), PostgreSQL, and AWS, and you’ll need to be confident across all of these. A solid understanding of security best practices matters too, given the regulated environment we operate in. We’re also looking for someone who has supported or mentored others in previous roles.

On top of the essentials, experience with any of the following would be a bonus: RabbitMQ, Docker, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible, OIDC integration, or a background in healthcare or another regulated industry.

Key technologies: Java, Spring, AWS, PostgreSQL, cloud-native architectures

If you’re motivated by meaningful work, modern engineering challenges, and the opportunity to make a real impact in healthcare, we’d love to hear from you., * Software development: 6 years (preferred)

About the company

Living With (part of the Agentis Health Group) is a fast-growing UK health technology business helping NHS and private healthcare providers deliver personalised virtual care at scale. Our platform supports remote patient management across 20+ conditions and is already trusted by over 40 NHS Trusts nationwide.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team and play a key role in shaping the future of our platform. You’ll work on mission-critical software that directly improves patient outcomes, reduces waiting lists, and supports clinicians delivering care more efficiently.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building well-engineered systems and working closely with product and clinical stakeholders in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment. As part of a small, close-knit engineering team, you’ll primarily be focused on backend development but will occasionally contribute to frontend work - so some full stack exposure is a real advantage.
