Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established international organisation seeking an experienced Business Systems Manager to lead the performance, development and continuous improvement of its core business applications.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring enterprise systems are secure, reliable and aligned with business objectives. Working closely with senior stakeholders across multiple departments, you will oversee the design and delivery of system enhancements, optimise business processes, manage data integration and governance, and drive user adoption across the organisation.

You will lead a small technical team while managing external technology partners, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and business-critical applications continue to evolve in line with organisational needs. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for continuous improvement., * Lead the management, optimisation and strategic development of enterprise business systems.

  • Deliver system enhancements and business improvement projects from concept through to implementation.
  • Ensure data integrity, system integration, security and compliance across the application landscape.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage third-party suppliers, software vendors and internal technical resources.
  • Drive process improvements, reporting capabilities and user adoption across the business.
  • Develop application roadmaps and support technology investment decisions.

Requirements

You will have significant experience managing enterprise business applications within a complex commercial environment, with strong knowledge of ERP, CRM, reporting and business intelligence platforms. You’ll be an effective people leader with excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills, capable of balancing operational support with strategic delivery.

Experience of systems integration, data governance, software implementation and continuous improvement initiatives is essential. Knowledge of SQL, APIs or cloud-based business systems would be advantageous.
