The Java Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting enterprise level applications within the Health Insurance domain. The role involves working on policy administration, claims processing, billing, and customer servicing systems. The developer is expected to build scalable and high performance applications using Java and modern frameworks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and healthcare regulations., * Design develop and maintain Java based applications for health insurance systems

  • Work on end to end application lifecycle including development testing deployment and support
  • Collaborate with business analysts product owners and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Perform troubleshooting root cause analysis and resolution of production issues
  • Ensure application performance scalability and security in line with enterprise standards
  • Support integration with external systems including provider networks claims systems and third party services
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements applicable to healthcare and insurance systems

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java programming and object oriented design principles
  • Hands on experience with frameworks such as Spring Spring Boot Hibernate or JPA
  • Good exposure to RESTful services microservices architecture and API development
  • Experience working with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries
  • Familiarity with application servers and deployment tools
  • Working knowledge of CI CD tools and version control systems
  • Strong understanding of debugging performance tuning and application support

Domain Experience:

  • Experience in Health Insurance domain covering policy claims billing or customer systems is required
  • Understanding of healthcare workflows provider data and insurance processes is preferred

Professional Skills:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle client interactions
  • Problem solving mindset with analytical thinking
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and support team delivery

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards in healthcare or insurance
