  • Work with Autodesk platforms and services, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Forma.
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with appropriate unit testing, error handling, documentation, and version control.
  • Help define deployment strategies, release processes, testing workflows, and support procedures for internal tools.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, BIM staff, and leadership to translate workflow problems into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, support users, and improve existing tools based on feedback and usage data.
  • Contribute to long-term technology standards, reusable code libraries, data structures, and development practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development, automation, or application development in a BIM related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or C#/.NET.
  • Understanding of software fundamentals including APIs, data structures, testing, debugging, maintainability, and code organization.
  • Experience with unit testing, source control, code reviews, and structured deployment practices.
  • Ability to learn technical workflows quickly and build practical software solutions for non-developer users.
  • Comfort working in small, agile teams and switching contexts as priorities evolve
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with engineers, designers, BIM staff, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform preferred.
  • Familiarity with AEC, BIM, MEP engineering, construction documentation, or design technology preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Autodesk software and cloud platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, Autodesk Platform Services, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Forma.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Query, reporting, analytics, or data pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, packaging, deployment, logging, and production support.
