Senior Backend Engineer (Voice + SMS Platform / AI Agents)

In this role, you’ll own the backend communication platform powering AI voice and messaging across multiple customers. You’ll design and build highly scalable distributed systems focused on reliability, event processing, concurrency, and performance while solving some of the company’s most technically challenging engineering problems.

• Own and scale the communication platform powering conversational AI Agents!
• Modern technology stack ( Python, LLM, Postgres, FastAPI, Node, observability)
• Build highly reliable distributed systems for enterprise voice and messaging (SMS)
• Improve platform performance, resilience, and observability at scale
• Work alongside the original platform builder before taking technical ownership
• Fully onsite in Miami

• Strong backend engineering experience (language agnostic)
• Experience building LLM applications or AI workflows
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable backend architecture
• Experience designing reliable event-driven or asynchronous systems
