The business is building AI Digital Workers that automate voice, messaging, workflow automation, and enterprise processes for customers at scale, and is now looking for a leader to help transform a fast-growing engineering team into a world-class software organization.

Working directly with the VP of Engineering, you’ll own engineering execution across Product, Platform, Infrastructure, and Customer Delivery. You’ll drive delivery, production reliability, engineering quality, and operational excellence while building scalable processes that enable teams to move quickly without unnecessary bureaucracy. You’ll oversee AI agents, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, enterprise integrations, and customer-facing automation products powering mission-critical enterprise operations.

The Role

• Own engineering execution, delivery, production reliability, and operational excellence across the business
• Lead engineering delivery across Product, Platform, Infrastructure, and Customer Delivery
• Improve engineering processes, release quality, observability, platform scalability, and customer deployments
• Drive the evolution from a fast-moving start-up engineering team into a scalable, world-class engineering organization
• Partner closely with the VP of Engineering to shape the future growth of both the platform and engineering function

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years leading engineering teams or technical leads
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, databases, integrations, and production operations
• Experience leading SaaS, AI, platform, infrastructure, workflow automation, or enterprise software engineering teams
• Proven ability to improve engineering execution, delivery quality, and accountability without slowing teams down through unnecessary process
• Experience with AI agents, LLM applications, production AI systems, or customer-facing automation products is highly desirable
• Experience with voice technologies, WebRTC, SIP, SMS, enterprise security, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or platform cost optimisation would be advantageous
• Thrives in ambitious, fast-paced start-up environments where ownership, technical excellence, and execution are highly valued
