Job description

Technical Support Consultant with deep Microsoft Dynamics expertise to serve as the technical backbone of our enterprise support function. This is a hands-on technical role: you’ll diagnose and resolve complex issues across Dynamics 365 configurations, customizations, and integrations. Strong customer communication matters but the core of this role is technical problem-solving.

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate and resolve complex Dynamics 365 issues across Sales, Customer Service, and Customer Engagement - including plugins, workflows, customizations, and integrations.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on production incidents: read logs, trace API calls, debug Power Automate flows, and inspect plugin execution pipelines.
  • Debug JavaScript web resources, C# plugins, business rules, and custom workflow activities; review or write small fixes when needed.
  • Troubleshoot Dataverse: security roles, relationships, calculated/rollup fields, FetchXML queries, and performance issues.
  • Build, debug, and maintain data integration packages using KingswaySoft (SSIS Integration Toolkit for Dynamics 365) - including connection managers, source/destination components, and error handling for high-volume data loads and migrations.
  • Diagnose solution import/export failures and environment migration issues across Dev/Test/Prod tiers.
  • Reproduce issues in sandbox environments and hand off well-documented bug reports to product engineering.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for support agents and own complex cases through resolution.
  • Translate technical findings into clear explanations for customer admins, developers, and executives during incidents.

Requirements

  • 3+ years hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse in a support, consulting, or customization role.
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role with clear communication skills under pressure.
  • Proven ability to debug plugins (C#), JavaScript web resources, and Power Automate flows.
  • Strong Power Platform knowledge: Power Automate, Power Apps, custom connectors.
  • Hands-on experience with KingswaySoft SSIS Integration Toolkit for Dynamics 365, including building and troubleshooting ETL packages.
  • Experience troubleshooting integrations with external systems (REST APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
  • Comfort reading C#, JavaScript, and JSON to isolate problems.

Nice to have:

  • Microsoft certifications (PL-200, PL-400, PL-600).
  • Experience with Azure (Application Insights, Functions) or SQL for log analysis.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform ALM tooling (CLI, XrmToolBox, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with SSIS beyond KingswaySoft (custom script tasks, deployment to SQL Server Integration Services Catalog).
