Job description

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team, specializing in application packaging and security hardening. You will play a critical role in ensuring the secure and efficient delivery of software applications, including creating and deploying packages with the latest security patches and updates., Application Packaging: Design, develop, and validate deployable software packages for Windows, ensuring compliance with security requirements (STIGs). Security Hardening: Apply STIGs, conduct vulnerability research, penetration testing, and malware analysis. System Administration: Maintain virtual environments (VMware), administer Windows and Linux systems, and manage Group Policy. Software Development: Develop Python scripts for automation and utilize languages like C++, Java, or.NET for software projects. Documentation: Write clear technical documentation.

Requirements

Programming: Proficiency in Python, experience with C++, Java, or.NET. Security: Experience with STIGs, vulnerability research, penetration testing, and malware analysis. Systems: Windows and Linux administration, VMware virtualization. Networking: Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Cisco hardware. Qualifications:

US Citizenship Active Secret clearance, eligible for T5 CompTIA Security+ CE 5+ years of relevant experience Highly Desired:

Experience with MDT, SAP Sybase, VMware PowerCLI Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Red Hat, Cisco, VMware)
