What you can expect as the Solutions Engineer at Fortress… We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our team and revolutionize the way we design, implement, and maintain innovative solutions for our government, utilities, and other mission-critical customers. You will act as the guide who bridges default product configurations to tailored solutions that maximize customer value. Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating with sales, product, and customer success teams to understand client requirements and tailor solutions that meet their specific needs
- Designing and deploying solutions for cyber security risk management and cybersecurity asset attack surface management ecosystems
- Providing support during presales activities such as configuring sandbox environments and solution refinement
- Keeping abreast of new cybersecurity trends, technologies and threats and updating solutions accordingly
- Delivering technical presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations to clients and internal teams
- Participating in the testing and validation of new products and solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in a Solution Engineer role within cybersecurity industry
- Excellent communication and consultation skills, able to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to understand client needs and provide effective technical solutions.
- Knowledge and experience with security protocols, technologies, and standards.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to design, implement, and guide effective prompting strategies of AI-enabled processes to improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making across teams or functions
- Strong cybersecurity domain knowledge.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AI-enabled tools in cybersecurity or risk platforms.
- Security-related certification (e.g., Security+, Network+, CMMC-focused training) strongly preferred but not required., * Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent professional work experience required.
