QA/ Data Reconcilation Specialist

• Serves as a computer systems expert on assignments that typically involve establishing automated systems, where concern is with overall life cycle structure; and conducts feasibility studies from design, implementation and post-implementation evaluation from several possible approaches. Design criteria must be established to accommodate changes in legislation, mission, or functional program requirements.
• Must be capable of devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems and can recommend and prepare technical procedure and design for new or existing applications. Devises, designs and formulates computer system requirements and procedural workflow solutions and communicates clearly defined specs to business and programming staff. Provides technical expertise in the supported application.
• Works with application stakeholders to improve the effective utilization of the application. Identifies data element conversion needs when moving from legacy application to new application and maps data elements for brand new application.
• Prepares written documentation of the need for application changes or replacements, and coordinates staff and manages project plans for their implementation.

• Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information Systems or a related field. A Master s Degree in a related field of information technology is preferred

General Experience

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in information technology systems analysis. A minimum of four (4) years of application development experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to function well on a team

Specialized Experience

• Must have at least five (5) years of the experience in the design of business applications on complex IT systems. Must have experience with application troubleshooting and root-cause analysis experience.
