Job description

If you enjoy fixing things no one else understands, talking to machines like they’re coworkers, and feeling like a hero when a production line suddenly comes back to life… You’re going to like it here.

Are you passionate about solving complex automation challenges and pushing the limits of what embedded systems can do? Do you get a little fired up when a PLC fault doesn’t make sense-or when a robot decides it has a mind of its own? Good… we do too.

This isn’t just another maintenance job. As an Embedded Automation Support (a.k.a. Automation Problem Slayer), you’ll be on the front lines of developing, troubleshooting, and optimizing some seriously advanced automation systems. You’ll work across a mix of hardware and software, diving deep into equipment that most people wouldn’t even know where to start with.

You’ll be the person people call when things go sideways-and the one they thank when everything is running smoother than ever.

It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and never boring. One minute you might be tracking down a remote I/O issue, the next you’re fine-tuning a FANUC robot or improving system performance so production can hit its stride.

If you thrive on solving tough problems, enjoy thinking on your feet, and take pride in being the one who figures it out when no one else can… this is your kind of role.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be embedded on-site supporting high-end automated manufacturing systems.

  • Installing, upgrading, and maintaining automated equipment
  • Keeping packaging machines, conveyor systems, and process equipment running like a dream
  • Working with FANUC robots (yes, the cool ones)
  • Supporting card feeders, packing systems, and production lines
  • Troubleshooting remote I/O like a detective solving a crime scene

Requirements

3-7 years of experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs 3-7 years working with FANUC robots Strong troubleshooting skills on automated equipment Experience with remote I/O systems Bonus points if you’ve worked with Cognex vision systems/scanners Solid computer skills (you know your way around… everything) You show up, work hard, and don’t complain when things get weird., * PLC: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Fanuc Robot: 2 years (Preferred)
