Information Technology Specialist

• administer and maintain computer and testing lab servers;

• ensure computers are running current version of Microsoft Windows operating software, all current versions of Windows software, and provide system support to computer and testing lab clients and other users;

• maintain mission assets, minimizing downtime, and avoiding work stoppage;
• perform Communications-Computer Systems planning and implementation activities;

• provide analytical, advisory, technical, functional, and management oversight to network upgrades and maintenance regarding critical communications systems;

• provide hardware and software system administration on all computers, printers, network hardware;

• provide site specific installation, configuration, and instruction documentation of IT systems; and
• implement and install any new systems (software/hardware) as required.

• current certification in A+;
• current certification in Security+; and
• experience with AFAEMS, Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) Windows Private Desktop System, and My Learning Career Development Course (CDC) Assessment System.
