Systems Manager - Data Operations, Enterprise Data...

• The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business, or technology-centric field and a minimum of 6 years relevant full-time work experience or

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business, or technology-centric field and a minimum of 8 years relevant full-time work experience

Relevant Work Experience

• Demonstrated experience in data engineering, data architecture, or data platform operations, including time spent leading technical teams, required

• Demonstrated experience with data modeling, data quality frameworks, and integration patterns across cloud and on-prem source systems, required

• Proven ability to partner across architects, engineers, business stakeholders, and enterprise governance groups to deliver operational outcomes, required

• Experience defining and managing operational metrics, SLAs, or KPIs for data platforms or similar technical environments, required

• Experience implementing data governance standards, data contracts, and observability practices on an enterprise analytics platform with integration points back to governance platforms such as Google Dataplex / Knowledge Catalog and Microsoft Purview, preferred

• Background in utilities, energy, or other regulated industries with exposure to compliance and data sensitivity requirements, preferred

• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms (such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and/or Databricks) and the integration tooling that supports them, preferred
