Software Quality Assurance Engineer

• You must currently live in Northeast Ohio or already have firm plans to relocate before your start date.
• This is a hybrid position requiring regular onsite work in the Greater Cleveland area.

What You’ll Do

• Design and create manual test cases from business requirements and user stories
• Execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, smoke, and data validation testing
• Write SQL queries using joins, subqueries, and aggregates to validate application data
• Document and manage defects in Azure DevOps through resolution
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business users throughout the SDLC
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, testing, and release activities
• Help improve QA processes and testing documentation

• Strong manual testing experience
• Experience creating test cases from scratch
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation
• Azure DevOps experience
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred

• Windows Forms or web application testing
• Test automation exposure (C#, NUnit, or similar)
• Visio or process documentation
• Black box, grey box, or white box testing
