Job description
Manage warehouse operations and inventory control at Spindletop Energy Products. This role requires maintaining accurate records, optimizing storage and distribution efficiency, and ensuring timely order fulfillment while upholding safety standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and experienced in warehouse operations, supporting the company’s service-first approach., Inventory Management

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements using inventory control systems.

Track incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and processing

Perform regular cycle counts, reconciling physical inventory with system records to identify discrepancies.

Monitor stock levels and work with your assigned branch manager to assist in reordering products as needed.
Warehouse Operations

Oversee the proper storage and organization of products to ensure quick retrieval and efficient space utilization.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse standards.

Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods and materials.

Prepare items for shipment and ensure that all orders are properly packed and labeled.
Data Entry and Reporting

Accurately enter inventory data into our QuickBooks Inventory Warehouse System.

Generate inventory reports and track inventory trends, helping identify potential stock issues or inefficiencies.

Provide reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and other key performance indicators.
Collaboration and Communication

Work closely with other departments (procurement, sales, and shipping) to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Communicate with our inside group and our vendors regarding any discrepancies.

Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Address inventory-related issues such as damage, misplacement, or theft.
Requirements
- Able to operate a forklift, basic computer skills
- High School Diploma
- No experience necessary
- 1-2 years warehouse / inventory control experience a plus
- Valid forklift certification
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly, * Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the picking, packing, or shipping process.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and the ability to avoid accidents.
- A strong desire to get the job done correctly and efficiently
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES:
- Regularly lifting boxes of 10-50 lbs.
- Extended periods of standing and walking
