Job description

We’re seeking an Intermediate Front End Developer to support our client’s enterprise web development team. This is a contract to hire role located in Houston, Wilmington or Columbus with potential to extend. This role focuses on modern web interfaces, AI integration, and delivering high-traffic websites. Bring your technical expertise and collaborative mindset to contribute to innovative solutions and operational excellence., * Develop and implement web components, templates, and workflows using enterprise content management platforms, prioritizing high performance and scalability.

  • Create accessible, responsive user interfaces based on wireframes and functional specifications, utilizing HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Integrate front-end interfaces with back-end systems and RESTful APIs to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Troubleshoot cross-browser and cross-platform issues to deliver consistent user experiences.
  • Collaborate with teams on deployment, monitoring, and operational improvements, incorporating automation and AI-assisted analysis where applicable.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with familiarity in SASS/Less preferred.
  • Experience with AI prompt engineering and building/refining developer assistants and workflows supporting software delivery.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with enterprise content management concepts, especially with AEM or comparable WCM platforms.
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, asynchronous requests, Node.js, and Webpack.
