Web Developer/ Designer

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our growing team. This is an in-office position where you’ll work closely with other developers to build, maintain, and enhance our e-commerce platforms and websites. The ideal candidate is collaborative, enjoys problem-solving, and has experience working within shared code repositories and modern web development environments., * Develop, maintain, and enhance websites and web applications.

• Collaborate with other developers on shared projects using GitHub for version control.
• Build and maintain WordPress websites, including WooCommerce functionality.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Bootstrap.
• Troubleshoot website issues, optimize performance, and implement new features.
• Follow coding standards, naming conventions, and development best practices.
• Work closely with internal team members to deliver projects accurately and on schedule.

Technical Environment

You’ll primarily be working within two e-commerce platforms:

• WordPress/WooCommerce
• Our WordPress websites utilize the GeneratePress theme.
• Our hosting environment is Kinsta.
• GoEpower
• Our second e-commerce platform is GoEpower, which utilizes Bootstrap for front-end development.

• Experience with GitHub and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Experience with WooCommerce.
• Strong understanding of Bootstrap and responsive web development.
• Experience working alongside other developers on the same codebase.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities., * Experience with e-commerce websites and online shopping platforms.
• Background in web design, UI/UX, or front-end design is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with website hosting environments and performance optimization is beneficial.

$20 - $25 an hour - Permanent, Full-time, * Monday through Friday

• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• In-office position

Compensation

• Starting pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
