Job description

  • Full stack web development across our growing portfolio of websites.
  • Use responsive design principles to ensure that pages and applications adjust according to the user’s device.
  • Perform testing and debugging using contemporary tools and frameworks
  • Utilize CSS pre-processing languages and frameworks (SCSS, Sass, Less, etc) to improve the styling.
  • Contribute to SEO performance with technical enhancements related to page load time and core web vitals.
  • Handle version control and continuous integration deployments of code between local, staging, and production environments
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and WooCommerce storefronts that align with client branding and business goals.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual layouts using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or InVision to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Implement front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap, and other relevant technologies to ensure responsive and accessible websites.
  • Optimize websites for SEO using best practices in content management systems and web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360.
  • Maintain website content, perform regular updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure website security and performance through ongoing website maintenance.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to improve site navigation, layout design, and overall user experience (UX).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content creators, and developers to deliver cohesive digital solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices for diverse audiences.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and web services to extend website capabilities.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal site performance on various devices.
  • Maintain and enhance existing client websites.

Requirements

Do you have experience in WordPress?, * Proven experience designing visually compelling websites with strong UI/UX principles using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Axure.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in WordPress development with extensive knowledge of themes, plugins, and customizations tailored for WooCommerce e-commerce platforms.
  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular is preferred.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs or services such as Constant Contact for email marketing or Google Analytics for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with server-side scripting languages like PHP and database management using MySQL or SQL is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies including SEO optimization and web analytics to enhance site visibility and performance.
  • Ability to create responsive designs that function seamlessly across all devices while maintaining high usability standards.
  • Strong understanding of web services (RESTful API, SOAP) integration and data visualization techniques.
  • A strong knowledge of Shopify.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and web development standards for scalable online stores., * Previous work experience in a full stack development role
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress
  • A passion for creating outstanding user experiences
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
