Job description

  • May greet and welcome visitors in a professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Scheduling appointments on doctor schedules.
  • Perform insurance verification.
  • Collecting copayments for appointments.
  • Collecting payments for materials such as contact lens or eye glasses orders.
  • Insurance verifications as needed
  • Scanning documents as needed
  • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, for easy retrieval of documents.
  • Faxing incoming and outgoing faxing, faxing referrals and forms made by doctors.
  • Checking out patients including scheduling follow up visits with doctors and special testing appointments.
  • Provide customer support by addressing client questions and concerns promptly.
  • Utilize Outlook teams applications for various administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Proficient in computer literacy.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to proofread documents meticulously to ensure high-quality output.
  • Effective team collaboration, positive attitude towards teamwork.
