Job description

We are seeking a Vice President, Enterprise Technology & Integration to serve as a strategic technology leader for a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven healthcare services organization. Reporting directly to the CIO, this role will act as the organization’s second-in-command within technology, providing leadership across software development, business applications, cloud platforms, integrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.

This position is ideal for a technology executive who thrives in high-growth environments and has successfully led technology integration efforts resulting from mergers and acquisitions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in consolidating multiple business platforms into a unified operating model, building scalable processes for future acquisitions, and ensuring technology remains aligned with long-term business objectives.

The organization is actively expanding through acquisition and seeks a leader who can establish repeatable integration frameworks, strengthen leadership depth within IT, and help scale technology operations across multiple business entities.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Technology Leadership

Serve as a key member of the technology leadership team and strategic partner to the CIO.

Provide executive leadership across software development, business applications, integrations, cloud initiatives, and enterprise platforms.

Establish technology roadmaps that align with organizational growth and business objectives.

Develop scalable governance, operating procedures, and technology standards across the enterprise.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Platform Consolidation

Lead technology due diligence, integration planning, and execution for acquired organizations.

Build and maintain repeatable playbooks for onboarding and integrating future acquisitions.

Evaluate business applications, workflows, and platforms to drive standardization and consolidation efforts.

Lead initiatives focused on creating a unified technology ecosystem and customer experience across multiple operating companies.

Applications & Digital Transformation

Oversee both internal business systems and customer-facing technology platforms.

Partner with development, architecture, and business teams to modernize applications, integrations, and operational processes.

Drive adoption of cloud technologies, automation, DevOps practices, and modern engineering methodologies.

Support the implementation of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled business solutions and workflow automation.

Organizational Leadership

Provide leadership, mentoring, and professional development for technology managers and technical teams.

Manage a blended workforce consisting of onshore leaders and offshore development resources.

Strengthen succession planning and establish second-level leadership capabilities across the technology organization.

Foster a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence

Define and measure key technology performance indicators across development, support, infrastructure, and delivery functions.

Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value and support strategic priorities.

Drive improvements in security, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Partner with business leaders to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively., This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a technology executive who wants to help shape the future of a rapidly growing organization. Requirements

10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior management or executive-level responsibilities.

Proven success leading technology organizations through growth, transformation, and organizational change.

Demonstrated experience supporting both customer-facing and internal business application environments.

Strong background leading technology integration efforts associated with mergers and acquisitions.

Experience managing distributed teams including both onshore and offshore resources.

Deep understanding of software development, cloud platforms, enterprise integrations, DevOps, and modern technology delivery practices.

Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

Track record of aligning technology strategy with business outcomes.

Preferred

Experience within healthcare services, occupational health, case management, workforce services, or other service-based industries.

Experience in private equity-backed organizations and acquisition-driven growth environments.

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud-native architectures.

Experience leading enterprise platform consolidation and modernization initiatives.

Knowledge of AI, automation, and emerging technology trends.

Experience establishing integration frameworks and technology playbooks for repeatable acquisition onboarding.
