QA Automation Engineer

This position is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes. The role involves building and executing both manual and automated test suites, triaging defects, and ensuring that software meets all functional, non-functional, and compliance standards within an Agile environment. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite., * Lead test planning at a team level, ensuring stories are well refined with clear acceptance criteria

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Identify automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types
• Help condition and generate compliant test data for all test environments
• Execute manual and automated test cases, recording results and reporting defects
• Participate in triaging reported issues and assist with resolution or escalation
• Create and manage traceability back to requirements
• Maintain and catalog test suites across various test types (Smoke, Integration, Regression, etc)

• Proven experience in Functional and Automation testing
• Strong skills with Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD methodologies
• Experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured, SoapUI, and Postman
• Knowledge of PL/SQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD, GIT, and Agile processes using JIRA
• Experience with NoSQL (Mongo), Kubernetes, and Kafka

Desired skills:

• Experience with Octane
• Knowledge of Core Java and OOPS principles
