Software Engineer

We’re investing heavily in the development of our own business software, creating systems that support a wide range of commercial and operational processes. As our software estate continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced developer to work alongside our existing Software Engineer to help design, develop and maintain a modern, scalable platform.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a small, highly capable development team where you’ll have genuine influence over architecture, technology choices and future development.. The Role

Working as part of our in-house development team, you will:

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET and C#.
• Build and enhance Blazor Server applications.
• Design scalable APIs and backend services.
• Contribute to software architecture and technical design.
• Research and prototype new technical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex operational challenges.
• Support continuous improvement across our software platform.

• Strong commercial experience with .NET / C#.
• Experience with Blazor Server.
• SQL database experience.
• API design and integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working on medium to large software applications.

Desirable Skills

• Degree or background in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• Experience developing computational or data-driven applications.
• Interest in software architecture and system design.
• Azure experience.
• Experience integrating third-party systems.
• Interest in research and development.
