  • Troubleshooting issues with Windows devices, Macs, mobile devices and printers

  • Offering clear, friendly guidance to clients and end-users

  • Logging and managing support tickets in collaboration with the service desk team

  • Liaising with suppliers and third parties to resolve escalated issues

  • Conducting client site audits and identifying opportunities for improvements

Requirements

We’re seeking an Support Engineer to join our supportive, fast-paced team. In this role, you’ll handle the resolution of support tickets via our service desk, providing 1st and 2nd line troubleshooting for user issues. You’ll occasionally visit customer sites to deliver high-quality service, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively as a team player. We value technical competence paired with a proactive and consistent approach., We’re searching for a confident, adaptable individual who enjoys direct interaction with end-users. Essential qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of experience on a service desk and on-site user support

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive admin experience

  • Knowledge of Google Workspace

  • Knowledge of Cyber Security and best practices in line with Cyber Essentials and ISO27001

  • Active Directory, Entra (AAD) and Intune

  • Familiarity with EDR Antivirus solution management and install on devices

  • Experience with Wi-Fi access points and switches

  • Solid experience with both MacOS for MacBook support and iPhone native email support

  • A calm, methodical approach to troubleshooting

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • A professional, presentable demeanour

Nice to Have

These aren’t mandatory, but they’ll help you hit the ground running:

  • Understanding of Group Policy and mobile device management (MDM)

  • Knowledge of backup systems, Azure services, and virtualization

  • Networking basics, including VLANs, Wi-Fi or any firewall knowledge

  • Familiarity with tools like ManageEngine, Vipre/MIME Cast Email security and filtering, N-Able/Ninja One RMM, or similar platforms

  • A passion for exploring new technologies and emerging IT solutions and Ai platforms
