Job description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technology by supporting a state-of-the-art automated warehouse, managing critical IT infrastructure, and contributing to on-site project deployments. It’s ideal for someone passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to play a key part in a fast-paced operational environment., * Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Monitor network performance and address any issues promptly.
  • Provide support for industrial warehouse IT systems.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to warehouse operations.
  • Manage, configure, and prepare warehouse industrial scanners and label printers for deployment and daily operations.
  • Ensure efficient labelling and tracking of inventory.
  • Assist end users with Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Docs.
  • Provide technical support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Willingness to learn and support various applications used within the organisation.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Travel for IT installations and project deployments for new showrooms/warehouses.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff and remote 3rd line IT support.

Requirements

  • Relevant IT certifications or educational degree qualifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and basic Linux administration tasks.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license is desirable but not mandatory.
