Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. You will work primarily with Node.js, NestJS, and microservices, building and owning services end-to-end. Experience with React and Next.js is a strong plus, as some work spans the full stack., * Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.

• Develop and operate microservices, including service boundaries, APIs, and integrations.
• Work with PostgreSQL: schema design, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
• Build event-driven flows using message queues and asynchronous processing.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and take part in code reviews.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and engineering conventions.
• Collaborate closely with the team across the full delivery cycle, from design to release.
• Optionally contribute to frontend work (React / Next.js) where features span the stack.

Required

• Solid commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with NestJS (or Express / Fastify with willingness to work in NestJS).
• Strong understanding of microservices and asynchronous, event-driven systems.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, including migrations, indexing, and transactions.
• Solid engineering fundamentals: clean architecture, testing, and code quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team.
• Spoken Ukrainian or Russian

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and Next.js.
• Familiarity with Redis, Kafka or RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with third-party API and payment-provider integrations.
• Comfort using modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor).
