Job description

What you’ll do:

  • Manage day-to-day technology operations to ensure reliable and efficient IT services.
  • Lead infrastructure, systems, and technology support activities across the organisation.
  • Develop operational strategies that improve performance, scalability, and service quality.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align technology initiatives with organisational goals.
  • Oversee IT projects, system upgrades, and technology implementation programmes.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Manage technology vendors, service providers, and operational budgets.
  • Support cybersecurity, business continuity, and technology governance initiatives.
  • Analyse operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing technology teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in technology operations, IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Previous leadership or project management experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, enterprise systems, networks, cybersecurity, or IT service management is beneficial.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative and solution-focused approach to leadership.
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent professional experience are welcomed.
