Sr. Platform Architect

Meijer Great Lakes Limited Partnership has multiple openings for a Sr. Platform Architect in Grand Rapids, MI. Develop and ensure compliance with architecture principles and standards for the various systems and components based on enterprise strategies, reference architectures, and design patterns. Create and maintain strategic business capability roadmaps, linking IT systems and services to the capabilities they enable in conjunction with business stakeholders. Define, develop, implement, and communicate architecture runways that guide solution development, standardization, reuse, simplification, and consistency across domains. Design, develop, and maintain the platform for the architectural runway. Support multiple value streams through broader context, use and requirements of solution with enterprise guidance. Oversees the platform by architecting end-to-end technological solutions across domains. Remote work is permitted. Req: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering. Foreign equivalent is accepted. 10 years’ experience in platform design, development, implementation, and maintenance of architecture runway. Experience with multiple customer facing technologies, diverse technical ecommerce configurations, ecommerce technologies, and high availability processing environments or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering. Foreign equivalent is accepted. 5 years’ experience in platform design, development, implementation, and maintenance of architecture runway. Experience with multiple customer facing technologies, diverse technical ecommerce configurations, ecommerce technologies, and high availability processing environments.
