Software Engineer

Join our innovative team as a Software Engineer and play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the Herd platform, a robust Java/Spring RESTful big data governance system hosted on AWS. You’ll engage directly with users, troubleshoot production issues, and document processes, ensuring the platform remains seamless and user-friendly. • Java and Spring proficiency
• Experience with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, EMR, SQS, SNS, Elasticsearch, RDS/Aurora)
• SQL knowledge at a basic working level
• Experience in regression/unit testing and performance testing

Nice to Have Skills

• Familiarity with Angular (a significant advantage)
• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
• Background in automation or operational support
• Knowledge of AI-assisted dev tools (e.g., Kiro)

Preferred Education and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software development
• Recent graduates from strong educational institutions may be considered
