Job description

We are seeking a skilled Squarespace Performance Optimization Expert. Our goal is to enhance our website’s speed and performance, with a primary focus on improving mobile load times. The project begins with a thorough performance audit to pinpoint areas for enhancement., * Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current Squarespace site to identify speed bottlenecks, such as image optimization, script issues, and hosting configurations.

  • Implement strategies to enhance load times and improve Core Web Vitals, ensuring the site maintains its visual and structural integrity.
  • Provide detailed documentation of changes made and offer recommendations for ongoing site monitoring and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in optimizing Squarespace websites, particularly in improving Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed scores.
  • Strong understanding of website performance best practices, including image compression, caching strategies, and script minimization.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to recommend and implement long-term monitoring and maintenance strategies., * Familiarity with tools such as Lighthouse and GTmetrix for additional performance insights.
  • Experience with SEO tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor the impact of speed improvements.
