Full Stack Engineer

As a Full-Stack Engineer at SkillsTown and Bloomville, you’ll be involved in the full software development lifecycle. From designing and building backend services to deploying cloud infrastructure and developing intuitive user interfaces, you’ll work across the entire technology stack. While your primary focus will be on .NET and Azure, you’ll also contribute to frontend development using Vue 3., * Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using .NET (C#).

• Building APIs, background services, and integrations between multiple systems.
• Designing, managing, and optimizing databases in Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Designing, deploying, and improving Azure cloud environments, including Azure Container Apps, App Services, and Service Bus.
• Developing user-friendly features using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Implementing logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing to improve observability.
• Contributing to technical designs and architectural decisions, including documenting decisions through Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Performing code reviews and continuously improving software quality, security, and maintainability.
• Working within CI/CD pipelines and DTAP environments.
• Exploring AI-assisted software development and applying new technologies to improve engineering practices.

You also bring:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working and thinking level.
• Solid experience developing production applications with .NET (C#).
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services such as Container Apps, App Services, Azure Functions, or similar platforms.
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern frontend development using Vue 3, or another framework such as React or Angular, with the willingness to work primarily in Vue 3.
• Experience designing APIs, integrations, and cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and working in DTAP environments.
• A strong focus on software quality, security, and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You are currently based in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Experience with event-driven architectures and Azure Service Bus.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Application Insights.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude or similar tools in a professional development environment.

• A challenging full-time position (32-40 hours per week).
• A gross monthly salary between €4.000,- and €5. 800,- based on a full-time workweek, depending on your experience and seniority (Medior/Senior).
