ODVT Engineer

• Review engineering specs, IEEE Standards, & devise overall test strategy for new products
• Integrate new equipment and develop test systems and environments
• Leverage automation to implement test strategy & improve productivity
• Test product’s compliance to internal specs as well as industry standards
• Provide detailed issue mitigation & drive issues to closure
• Document test plans, procedures, & test reports
• Help root cause field issues & support customer escalations
• Work cross functionally with system designers, diagnostics engineers, customer escalation engineers, & external vendors to ensure robust test methodology & timely issue mitigation resulting in high product quality, * * Review engineering specs, IEEE Standards, & devise overall test strategy for new products

Do you have experience in Microcontrollers?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, · BSEE/CE with 2-4 years of experience or MSEE/CE with 1-2 years’ experience. AA degree with relevant experience can also be considered

· Hands on experience with electrical and optical test & measurement equipment. Labview knowledge is a plus

· Perfect EE/CE background

· Can take AI and automation initiatives.

Desired Skills

· Hands on experience with electrical and optical test & measurement equipment - oscilloscopes w/CDR, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, noise generators, traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent), BERT, etc.

· Knowledge of fundamental hardware blocks & subsystems - CPU/microcontrollers, LVDS signaling, PCIe, USB, clocking, basic signal integrity & power issues

· Familiarity with following standards - 802.3 10/100/1000, 802.3ae, 802.3af, 802.3ba, SFF8431

· Extensive experience with instrument control & automation - working knowledge & hands-on experience with Labview automation software

· Sound troubleshooting & diagnostic methodology

· Good written & verbal communication skills

· Ability to work well with others - both internal & external teams

· Ability to learn things quickly & adapt to a dynamic, fast paced work environment

· A “can do” attitude, independent thinking, & ability to articulate complex technical issues in an effective manner, * BSEE/CE with 2-4 years of experience or MSEE/CE with 1-2 years’ experience. AA degree with relevant experience can also be considered
