Job description

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team at Rugvista on a 12-month maternity cover. In this role, you will help the team turn data into clear insights that support better commercial, marketing, and customer experience decisions.

You will work with data from multiple sources, create and maintain reports, analyze performance across the customer journey, and support stakeholders with actionable recommendations. This role is well suited for someone who is hands-on, structured, curious, and comfortable working with both business stakeholders and data tools.

How You Make an Impact

  • Analyze data across areas such as website performance, marketing, sales, customer behavior, and conversion funnels.
  • Build, maintain, and improve recurring reports and dashboards.
  • Use tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, GA4, Looker Studio, Power BI, and AI-assisted workflows to extract, clean, analyze, visualize, and present data.
  • Support the team in understanding customer journeys, funnel performance, and key business drivers.
  • Translate data findings into clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy in reporting.
  • Help identify opportunities for improving performance, efficiency, and decision-making.
  • Use AI tools and automation opportunities to reduce manual reporting effort, improve efficiency, and make reporting processes more scalable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a data analyst, marketing analyst, business analyst, digital analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
  • Experience working with GA4 or similar web analytics tools.
  • Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI is a must.
  • Experience or strong interest in using AI tools to automate repetitive reporting tasks, improve workflows, and increase the speed and quality of insights.
  • Ability to explain data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A structured, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with others.

What we offer

  • A diverse and international organization committed to creating and maintaining an inspiring workplace where everyone loves to go to work.
  • A dynamic, international organisation with high ambitions and short decision paths
  • A collaborative and value-driven culture with genuine respect for people and ideas
  • A solid benefits package, including wellness allowance
