Job description
As a Programme & Portfolio Director for Cloud Infrastructure Services, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through transformative journeys across the full lifecycle of programmes or a portfolio of projects. From shaping strategic propositions and offering advisory services, to delivering impactful programmes and embedding lasting change, you’ll be at the heart of innovation and collaboration with Technologies spanning Public and Private cloud, Edge Computing, AI and Cyber and Traditional Infrastructure.
You’ll serve as a trusted partner to executive stakeholders, contributing to board-level governance and often co-leading steering group and programme board meetings.
You’ll be responsible for delivering successful, value-driven programmes while nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying opportunities for future growth.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on building inclusive, high-performing teams and who embraces modern delivery techniques and tools to drive continuous improvement.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role Working with the projects and consulting practice of CIS UK, you will have holistic accountability for either a major programme or portfolio of projects at an account level with values typically £10m and above and teams of 100+ people across multiple business lines within Capgemini., Collaborate with clients to deliver successful projects and programmes aligned with business goals. Lead responses to RFPs and contribute to building a strong pipeline of opportunities Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and CXOs Champion continuous improvement and innovation in delivery practices Foster inclusive, flexible, and high-performing teams
Requirements

Experience in consultancy, particularly in systems integration Ability to inspire and align teams around a shared vision Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Proven success in leading large programmes and navigating complex challenges Experience in commercial and contract management, with a focus on budget and forecasting
