Job description

Come and make a difference at Karbon as a Senior Data Engineer, The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering data related services to the organisation including processing data for reporting & analytics products, data integrations and systems migrations, leading the design, build and maintenance of the team’s data related services. They’ll act as a positive member of the ICT team, providing the highest possible standard of service to customers.

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Senior Data Engineer in our ICT & Digital Transformation department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that’s making a real difference in people’s lives. The ICT & Digital Transformation department provide enabling digital services that contribute to Karbon Homes mission., * A strong record of demonstrable achievement in delivering data services

  • Knowledge of modern data engineering tools, technologies and practices

  • Understanding of data protection and data governance practices

  • Excellent problem-solving skills applicable to working with data

  • Relevant ICT qualification, or equivalent work experience

  • Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Location: Predominantly office based at Gosforth or Stanley and attendance at other Karbon offices may be required. Working from home is available depending on business need

  • 37 hours per week with some homeworking available/flexible working
