Job description

Immediate need for a talented Senior Python Software Engineer (Oracle SQL

Healthcare Data Platform) . This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested., * Design, build, and support enterprise Python applications and backend services.

Develop REST APIs and integration logic for internal systems.
Work with Oracle databases, complex SQL, and PL/SQL to support data processing and reporting.
Build and maintain data validation, reconciliation, and automation workflows.
Support performance tuning and optimization for Oracle queries and data pipelines.
Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Support healthcare data workflows, reporting, and operational processes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
5+ years of hands-on Python development
Experience building enterprise or production applications using Python
Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Strong experience with complex SQL queries
Experience building or supporting backend services or APIs
Experience working in Agile environments
Strong communication and documentation skills
FastAPI, Flask, or Django
Pandas, NumPy
SQLAlchemy, python-oracledb, or cx_Oracle
Oracle performance tuning
PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
SQL*Loader, BULK COLLECT, FORALL
Power BI or Tableau
Healthcare claims, payer, health plan, or healthcare data
X12 / EDI (837, 835, 834)
