Programming Tools Middleware Statistical Hypothesis Testing Software Product Management Software Engineering Network Routers

Job description

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead the product vision, strategy, and delivery for our BRT Middleware and Developer Tools portfolio - including the BRT App Platform, Universal Router, and other shared services / capabilities.

This is an individual contributor role requiring a rare combination of technical depth and business knowledge: you will partner with engineering leads to translate user/ customer outcomes into working software, while maintaining a sharp focus on the developer experience.

Act as the connective tissue between business strategy and engineering execution - turning user insights into validated, build-ready work, and shipping products that meet measurable outcomes.

We are committed to delivering value to our customers. Our culture of learning ensures our people are our greatest asset., Strategy

  • Lead product opportunity discovery through user research, competitive analysis, and alternatives assessment.
  • Define product vision, features and capabilities aligned to the broader product area strategy.
  • Run structured experiments and build prototypes to test hypotheses, validate product-market fit, and track outcomes before committing to full investment.

Planning and Prioritization

  • Own and actively lead the feature-level roadmap, making explicit tradeoffs across product and technical areas.
  • Analyze users, customers, and business goals to produce clear requirements and well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Run the intake process for new work requests including prioritization decisions.

Execution

  • Work with engineering leads to refine the product backlog and translate it into an actionable engineering backlog.
  • Serve as a decision-maker and escalation point throughout the development cycle to maintain delivery momentum.

Launch and Monitor

  • Drive product launches and adoption including stakeholder communications.
  • Continuously assess product-market fit and evolve the product based on quantitative and qualitative signals.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle - from launch through rationalization or decommission.

People and Team Practices

  • Coach, mentor and recognize team members to create an inspiring culture.
  • Identify and advocate for team process improvements to increase delivery efficiency and reduce friction.

Requirements

  • 10 plus years successfully delivering software products.
  • At least 2 years in a technical product management or platform leadership role.
  • Consistent track record of defining and delivering a roadmap with different priorities across multiple partners.
  • Experience writing clear, developer-ready requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories.
  • Strong analytical abilities - comfort with data, metrics, and structured experimentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and influence engineering, architecture, and business teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with a variety of types of middleware platforms.
  • Experience with platform tooling and developer experience design.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (financial services, healthcare, etc.) with compliance and governance requirements.
