Job description

We’re seeking a Test Engineer. In this role, you’ll help test components and complex systems on both existing and new agricultural equipment. You’ll work closely with a collaborative engineering team to ensure our products meet performance, reliability, and durability standards, playing a key role in bringing innovative solutions to market. Duties: Including but not limited to:

  • Develop validation plans for mechanical systems and components aligned with performance and reliability targets

  • Execute test plans, gather and record data, and analyze results to provide actionable feedback

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to correlate physical test data with simulation outputs (e.g., FEA, CFD)

  • Coordinate field testing efforts and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed

  • Support continuous improvement of testing capabilities, methods, and instrumentation

  • Specify and source test equipment, components, sensors, and tools

  • Participate in design reviews and FMEA sessions to inform validation strategies

  • Develop reliability predictions from test data to support product development

  • Document testing procedures and results in compliance with ISO and ASABE standards

  • Operate and become proficient in client-specific agricultural equipment

  • Manage workload to meet deadlines, adapting to changing priorities as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related technical field preferred

  • 1-3 years of experience in product validation, testing, or a closely related engineering discipline

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through education, professional roles, or hands-on experience

  • Familiarity with testing tools and analysis software (e.g., SolidWorks, HBM Somat eDAQ, etc.) is a plus

  • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple test projects simultaneously
