Sr Principal SAP BTP Engineer

The Senior Principal SAP BTP Engineer designs, develops, and supports enterprise software solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role provides technical leadership for software development, cloud architecture, SAP integrations, automation, analytics, and modernization initiatives while ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise applications., * Design, develop, and implement enterprise software solutions using SAP BTP.

• Lead software development throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Serve as an escalation point for operational support and issue resolution.
• Design scalable cloud and on-premises application architectures.
• Develop and maintain SAP BTP Integration Suite solutions.
• Support SAP PI/PO migration to SAP Integration Suite.
• Develop and configure SAP Work Zone solutions.
• Build dashboards, planning models, and analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Support SAP Cloud ALM monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Lead Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives to improve business processes.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with security, quality assurance, and development standards.
• Maintain architecture, technical documentation, and system specifications.
• Support API management, workflow automation, event management, and business rules implementation.
• Implement CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, and cloud-native development practices.
• Perform additional software engineering and technical leadership responsibilities as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of enterprise software development experience (11+ years preferred).
• Strong expertise with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, Workflow Management, and Business Rules.
• Experience migrating SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with SAP Work Zone, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Experience implementing RPA solutions (SAP IRPA, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, microservices, CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
