Job description

Perform electrical and mechanical laboratory testing to support lightning and static protection validation for aircraft systems. Configure test equipment, collect test data, troubleshoot laboratory equipment, and support engineering evaluations while following established test procedures and quality requirements., * Configure test beds in accordance with approved test procedures

  • Operate laboratory test equipment, including current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems
  • Repair laboratory test equipment by troubleshooting electrical circuits and performing solder repairs
  • Maintain laboratory test equipment to support ongoing testing activities
  • Collect test data and provide results that support engineering validation efforts
  • Support engineers with design validation, issue investigation, and compliance testing
  • Verify testing activities meet established laboratory procedures and standards

Requirements

  • Associate degree and typically 3+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of related work experience with electrical or electronics testing
  • Intermediate experience with Circuit Analysis
  • Demonstrated familiarity with electronics laboratory equipment, including current transformer probes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems
  • Apply an electrical background with circuit analysis and soldering
  • Utilize a mechanical background to drill and cut test fixtures and test articles as required
  • Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
