Vendor Management & IT Officer

The Farmers Bank of Appomattox is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-minded professional to join our team as a Bank Officer - IT/ Vendor & Enterprise Risk Management. This role is an important part of supporting the Bank’s daily technology operations, vendor management program, risk assessment process, and enterprise risk management efforts. The successful candidate will enjoy working with people, solving problems, supporting banking technology, and contributing to the continued success of a trusted community bank., Support the Bank’s information technology functions, banking systems, digital banking services, and employee technology needs.

Oversee vendor management activities, including vendor reviews, records, software updates, risk assessments, and reporting.

Complete risk assessment and enterprise risk management processes.

Provide troubleshooting support for core banking services, online banking, mobile banking, cash management, ATM operations, debit card processes, and related systems.

Coordinate with technology partners and internal team members on IT projects, upgrades, and system support.

Maintain accurate records and assist with committee meetings, reporting, and other assigned duties.

Degree in Information Technology or closely related field.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft products and the ability to learn banking technology systems.

Excellent customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow direction, maintain accurate records, and work both independently and as part of a team.

Dependable, self-motivated, professional, and committed to honesty, integrity, confidentiality, and sound judgment.

Willingness to work required bank hours and attend training as needed.
