Job description

Seeking for a Salesforce Senior Platform Engineer to lead design, architecture, and custom development in one of the largest Salesforce orgs. You will work with Salesforce and other web technologies like APEX, JavaScript, LWC, RestAPI, and GraphQL. Collaboration with other engineering teams is crucial for success, driving continuous development and iterative deployments., * Act as a technical architect and hands-on Salesforce developer.

  • Design technical architecture solutions with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and guide on new capabilities.
  • Drive UX and design strategies to improve platform adoption.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to translate requirements into solutions.
  • Develop and manage off-platform automation scripts using Python.
  • Assist in security efforts by reviewing Shield event logs and alerts.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8-10 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in designing and implementing customized Salesforce applications.
  • High proficiency in JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks, and Python.
  • Solid understanding of REST, GraphQL, and DevOps concepts.
  • Experience with application observability tools like Dynatrace and Splunk.

Other Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and learn from team members through pairing and code reviews.
  • Experience with front-end application architecture and UI component libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for code quality.
