Job description

As a Software Developer / Engineer, you are a key technical contributor in our engineering team. You develop features across the CASABLANCA product portfolio, take ownership of modules or services, and make technical decisions that shape our architecture. You work with .NET, modern software architecture and cloud technologies to keep our products robust, scalable and future-proof.

What you’ll do

  • Take technical ownership of selected modules or services within the CASABLANCA platform

  • Design and develop software features in .NET/C#

  • Contribute to software and system design, including architecture decisions

  • Ensure code quality, clean code practices and technical standards

  • Help evolve and modernize our microservice and cloud architecture

  • Create solution designs and analyze complex system environments

  • Participate in code reviews and pair programming

  • Support sprint planning, estimation and backlog refinement

  • Assist with 3rd-level support analysis when needed

  • Collaborate closely with QA, product management and other engineering teams

Requirements

  • Professional experience in software development (2+ years)

  • Solid knowledge of .NET/C#

  • Understanding of clean architecture, design patterns and domain-driven design principles

  • Experience with SQL databases and ORMs (e.g. Entity Framework, NHibernate)

  • Comfortable working with Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repositories)

  • Structured, independent way of working

  • Fluent in English; German at B2 level or above, * Experience with microservices, Docker and distributed systems

  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud services

  • Experience with messaging systems (e.g. Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)

  • Routine in performance optimization, debugging and refactoring

  • Interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team

  • Experience with NoSQL databases
