Job description

As a Software Developer / Engineer, you are a key technical contributor in our engineering team. You develop features across the CASABLANCA product portfolio, take ownership of modules or services, and make technical decisions that shape our architecture. You work with .NET, modern software architecture and cloud technologies to keep our products robust, scalable and future-proof., 1. Take technical ownership of selected modules or services within the CASABLANCA platform

  1. Design and develop software features in .NET/C#
  2. Contribute to software and system design, including architecture decisions
  3. Ensure code quality, clean code practices and technical standards
  4. Help evolve and modernize our microservice and cloud architecture
  5. Create solution designs and analyze complex system environments
  6. Participate in code reviews and pair programming
  7. Support sprint planning, estimation and backlog refinement
  8. Assist with 3rd-level support analysis when needed
  9. Collaborate closely with QA, product management and other engineering teams, 1. CASABLANCA AI Toolkit: AI tools that handle the friction from pipeline automation to incident documentation, so you can own the architecture

Requirements

  1. Professional experience in software development (2+ years)
  2. Solid knowledge of .NET/C#
  3. Understanding of clean architecture, design patterns and domain-driven design principles
  4. Experience with SQL databases and ORMs (e.g. Entity Framework, NHibernate)
  5. Comfortable working with Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repositories)
  6. Structured, independent way of working
  7. Fluent in English; German at B2 level or above, 1. Experience with microservices, Docker and distributed systems
  8. Familiarity with Azure Cloud services
  9. Experience with messaging systems (e.g. Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ)
  10. Routine in performance optimization, debugging and refactoring
  11. Interest in mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team
  12. Experience with NoSQL databases

Benefits & conditions

*The minimum gross salary for this position is €3175 per month (full-time, 38.5h/week). The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience.
