Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable WordPress & Laravel Web Developer with some experience in Shopify sites to support the ongoing development, maintenance, optimization, and expansion of digital platforms for both existing and new clients.

This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys balancing technical problem-solving with collaborative client-focused work. The position will focus heavily on maintaining and improving established websites and applications while also contributing to new builds, feature enhancements, integrations, and long-term platform scalability.

You’ll work closely with internal creative, strategy, and account teams to ensure our clients’ websites remain secure, functional, modern, and aligned with evolving business goals., * Maintain, update, and optimize existing WordPress and Laravel websites and web applications

  • Develop new website features, functionality, integrations, and custom solutions for client programs
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, plugin conflicts, server concerns, and platform performance
  • Support website migrations, hosting environments, backups, staging environments, and deployment workflows
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and account teams to implement user-friendly digital experiences
  • Assist in translating creative designs and wireframes into responsive, functional websites
  • Ensure websites remain current with security updates, platform best practices, and evolving web standards
  • Build and maintain reusable code and scalable development practices
  • Support ongoing SEO, analytics, accessibility, and performance optimization efforts
  • Participate in project planning, technical recommendations, and long-term platform strategy discussions
  • Provide technical guidance and support for both new and existing client initiatives

Requirements

Do you have experience in MySQL?, * Strong working knowledge of WordPress and Laravel development

  • Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
  • Experience with website maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing support environments
  • Familiarity with hosting platforms, staging workflows, version control, and deployment processes
  • Experience working with responsive design and modern front-end frameworks
  • Ability to work within established brand standards and design systems
  • Understanding of website performance optimization, security practices, and accessibility standards
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and directly with clients
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or related design tools is beneficial

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting agency or multi-client environments
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce, API integrations, and third-party platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and Google Analytics/GTM implementation
  • Experience with VPS/server environments and hosting management is a plus, * Must meet work-from-home requirements, though some future in-office collaboration may be requested

Benefits & conditions

$30 - $45 an hour - Part-time
