Job Description

Are you ready to join the forefront of technology as a Senior Application and Software Developer in Netcompany?

As a Senior Application and Software Developer you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain the back-end of large-scale, web-based applications utilizing Spring Boot and a microservices architecture.
• Participate actively in the technical analysis, documentation, implementation, and integration phases of the software development life cycle.
• Leverage modern DevOps tools by working extensively with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments to ensure scalable and reliable deployments.
• Rigorously test and manage early life support (ELS) for core software tools and assets produced within project contexts, ensuring long-term stability.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into elegant, high-performance technical solutions.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• A University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field and minimum of 10 years of experience
• Deep professional experience with the Spring Framework and Spring Boot, specifically in building distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot , Kafka/IBM Event Streams , PostgreSQL , and Istio, with the ability to develop and support modern, event-driven microservices applications.
• Proven proficiency with CI/CD and version control tools , including GitHub CI/CD , SonarQube , Git , and GitHub, following DevSecOps and software development best practices.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies , including Docker/Podman , Kubernetes , OpenShift Container Platform , Helm , and JFrog Artifactory for deploying and managing enterprise applications.
• Proven track record of performing deep technical analysis and producing clear, comprehensive documentation for complex systems.
• Experience tackling the challenges that come with large-scale web applications and have the seniority to guide architectural decisions.
• Fluency in English (C1 level).
