Job description

This Junior Data Analyst role will be joining the Analytics and Insights team and involves working with full-service research and data analytics functions to cover a wide spectrum of methodologies; from audience planning and research communities to econometrics, digital attribution and structured testing. This role will involve supporting the media planning teams with research, customised reports and implementation of bespoke data management processes, supporting senior analysts to build advanced forecasting models, managing a data pipeline to power a visualisation dashboard, or something else entirely different - no two days will be the same!, In this Junior Data Analyst job, your tasks will include:

  • Liaise with Data and Media Planning teams to help future campaigns with data insights, including involvement from the briefing stage to inform campaign setup and relevant metrics
  • Leveraging client data to discover insights, identify opportunities and build data products to drive the business forwards; don’t through the use of statistical, algorithmic and visualisation techniques
  • Work on data visualisation software to help with client campaigns
  • Create & manage client-friendly reports/dashboards to provide insight on campaign progress
  • Compiling post-campaign analysis, reviews and recommendations to clients
  • Power deep-dive analyses to answer questions that unlock the next growth levers for our client’s businesses
  • Enable fast, easy, self-serve BI in every team, helping everyone to spend time on what really matters

Requirements

  • A 2:1 from university in a relevant Quantitative or STEM subject (or 2+ years relevant experience)
  • High level of numeracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel - vlookups, pivot tables etc
  • Some experience using Power BI or Tableau is beneficial
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen interest in advertising and media
  • A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Right to Work in the UK
