Lead UI Designer - Competitive / DOE
Enterprise UI. Design Systems. Craft Leadership.
We’re partnering with a long-established global technology company that’s looking for an exceptional Lead UI Designer to help shape the next generation of its enterprise software.
This isn’t a people management role. It’s for someone who leads through design excellence. You’ll spend roughly 50% of your time owning complex UI projects and 50% supporting other designers, raising the quality of work across the team and helping drive consistency through design systems and UI leadership.

Lead UI design across complex enterprise desktop products
Design intuitive interfaces for data-rich, workflow-driven applications
Own and evolve a mature design system, components and UI patterns
Guide and mentor other UI designers through reviews and collaboration
Work closely with Product, UX and Engineering from discovery through delivery
Ensure a consistently high standard of UI craft across multiple product teams
Requirements
10+ years’ experience in UI or product design with a strong UI focus
Outstanding visual craft with an exceptional portfolio
Experience designing complex B2B SaaS or enterprise desktop applications
Deep expertise in design systems, scalable components and UI frameworks
Experience leading projects and supporting or mentoring other designers
Confident presenting work and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
London-based with the right to work in the UK
