Job description
A reputable firm in Central London has reached out, they are on the lookout for a GIS Analyst to join their growing teams.
The role would be based out of Central London offering a hybrid working model (3 days in office), whilst being outside IR35.
You support project setup, data organization, some data analysis and mapping efforts across multiple projects. This role focuses on building clean, well-structured geospatial datasets and ensuring accessibility for cross-functional collaborators., * Network modeling
- Providing cartographic support
- Integrating and organising data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to help define spatial data needs and analysis questions
- Support data workflows
Requirements
- 3-5 years of GIS technical experience.
- Software Expertise: Proficiency in QGIS and Python.
- Data management: Experience creating cloud-hosted GIS databases and managing permissions.
- Experience developing clear data organization and naming strategies, ensuring data provenance and currency is clear to cross-disciplinary collaborators.
- Working from our London studio.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in geographic information science, geomatics, computer science, civil engineering, information systems, or a related field.
Desired Skills:
- Technical Literacy: Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is highly desirable for translating architectural plans into GIS.
- Human-Centric Thinking: A keen interest in urban design, psychology, or user experience (UX) to ensure maps are truly usable’.
- Strong attention to detail and data organization practices.
- Interest in urban planning and the built environment.
- Experience developing web maps and cloud-native geospatial tooling.
