Computer Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional desktop and IT support, ensuring that all computer systems are functioning optimally. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. The Computer Technician will work as a game tech (70% Customer Service / 30% Tech related)., * Provide desktop support for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting problems as they arise.

• Assist users with IT support requests, ensuring timely resolution of technical difficulties.
• Manage computer systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications.
• Offer help desk support to staff, guiding them through technical challenges with patience and clarity.
• Conduct regular checks on computer hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain and improve office computer networking systems.
• Document all support interactions and maintain accurate records of issues resolved.

Do you have experience in macOS?, * Proven experience in desktop support, IT support, or help desk roles is highly desirable.

• 1 year IT work experience or IT education required
• Familiarity with computer management practices and office environments is beneficial.
• Knowledge of computer networking principles and practices is a plus.
• Proficiency in Mac OS as well as other operating systems is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.
• Experience working with various computer hardware components is essential.
