Backup Data Administrator

What You’ll Do:

• Perform daily monitoring and management of the backup environment.
• Create and update documentation for backup environments.
• Design a data recovery and backup system.
• Perform Maintenance on existing database backup systems.
• Monitor activity to make sure all necessary information is stored securely.
• Perform patching and backups on multiple environments Assist in setting up servers for migration of old backup solution

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science with knowledge of all types of computer and communication equipment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without supervision.

Computer Skills

• Strong knowledge of various types of computer equipment and software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Oracle certification is preferred

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• English language fluency, verbal and written.
• Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
